  • Shipping & billing address. Street, city, state, postal code, and country — required to ship physical books and to print carrier labels.
  • Phone number. Collected at checkout so carriers (USPS, UPS, DHL) can contact you about delivery exceptions.
  • Payment data. Card details are sent directly to Stripe; we never see or store them.
  • Usage data. IP address, browser, device, and aggregated page-view metrics for analytics.
  • Communications. Messages you send to support and our responses.

2. How we use it

  • To pick, pack, label, and ship your paperback order, and to email you tracking updates.
  • To process refunds and returns, prevent fraud, and comply with tax and accounting requirements.
  • To improve our catalog, fix bugs, and prioritize new editions.
  • To send order receipts and, with consent, occasional product announcements.

3. Sharing

We share data only with the processors we need to run the store: Stripe (payments), our shipping carriers (USPS, UPS, DHL) for label generation and delivery, our hosting and email providers, and law-enforcement when legally compelled. We do not sell personal information.

4. Cookies

We use a minimal set of cookies and localStorage entries — one to remember your cart, one for Stripe fraud-prevention, and aggregated analytics. You can clear these from your browser at any time.

5. Your rights

6. Retention

Order records are kept for seven years for tax compliance. Support emails are retained for two years. You may request earlier deletion subject to legal obligations.
